Hello, and thank you for viewing my profile. Yes, that's me. To be honest 2019 flew by so fast and now the age of 45 is approaching. Uggg! I don't feel 45 and I will let you judge if I look 45. I am a divorced father of a wonderful talented 15 year old son. Evan is the light in my world and I know now what my purpose was always meant to be...as a father. I served in the US military and now I own a small IT firm that specializes in servicing the area where I live. It's an island about 4 hours south of Washington DC. Yes it's an island and about 30,000 people live here. Mostly we have lots of tourists visit in summer and that is how I met my many friends form the Ukraine and Russia over 19 years ago. I seek a smart, funny, relaxed partner that knows the value of intense conversation and also the power of silence and things unsaid but felt instead. Those moments when no words pass between 2 people but the universe is understood is how I want to feel and how I hope my partner wants to feel when we find each other. I enjoy family, the bigger the better. Travel is great and because I have visited the Ukraine many times I know already that western men do not have the best reputation there. I WILL change your mind. I am an adult and so I have adult needs and yet I am also very much a gentleman, and I was taught to be a man in all things. I don't yell, nor am I a jealous man. Jealousy shows insecurity and in my experience Slavic women wants a strong man. Still I do have a very tender side and I seek a woman that also has a tender side. Relax, life is too short to buzz around like a bee all the time not stopping to smell the roses. There is a time to go go go and there is a time to chill. My partner will know the difference and she will know how to energize me, and how to make me weak in the knees. Children are great!! I hope my partner will embrace my son and I promise to embrace hers. I have been to Lviv, which is maybe my favorite city in the Ukraine but I haven't seen it all. Kiev of course is nice but I prefer cities that are not so big. I have been to the Black sea near Evpatoria before the annexation of the Crimea and that saddens me. I was almost killed in Kharkov and I wear many scars to prove it, but I am alive and that event didn't scare me away from the Ukraine, or its wonderful people, and the countryside. The small villages were so welcoming also and I hope my partner will take time to enjoy them as well. Thank you for reading this short novel, live and laugh. I speak some Russian from my friends there, but I do teach English to several married couples online that live.in the Ukraine.
