I believe that imagination changes the future of all we know; that myths are the nature of our history; that our dreams can become reality; that hope encourages miracles to happen; that humor can often dispel anger, grief or disease and that love is the expression that defines purpose in life.
My truest friends do not judge me by my politics, religion, wealth , status, sexuality or my personal opinions.... for the most part they have learned to accept me wherever and whatever “I am” in that moment and realize “I am” a work in progress. They do not abandon or suddenly change their loyalty. They support me, encourage me, enrich me and fill me with their love, their laughter, and their lives. They are not offended if we have not recently spoke (even after years sometimes). They are not jealous of my other relationships or concerned if they are my “best friends”.........................
There have been times in life I have felt as if all is lost, there is no point or purpose to continue to exist here. Is there a point...? Yes, I believe so... Perhaps the point (for me at least) is simply to live and share this experience... in all its’ beauty and all its’ ugliness, its’ tragedy and its’ joys. To find and foster a sense of consciousness that can transcend our differences and build a future for the coming generations of fellow travelers...I would like to think... and believe this is possible.
